Book & Paper Sculpture
Literature itself is certainly art, but who knew that books can be made into beautiful and fascinating visual art as well? Among other things, it is very possible to create sculptures from books. These sculptured books are amazing, from the level of detail and the textures to the way they are presented, creating a magical aura out of a product which in most cases are abandoned once read.
As a practical working project the students from Ennis Art School will be participating in the forth coming Ennis Book Festival Week and their paper sculpture works will be featured in the shop fronts of Ennis during the festival. This Festival will take place in Ennis from 2nd – 4th March.
